Occasionally Tom Welling will have a moment or two of good acting. I thought he was good when his dad was dying. He's very good at playing dorky and awkward, and I wish they'd have him do that more often. He can rarely pull off the intense look, he normally looks kind of stunned, but he has succeeded a couple of times.
