Disappointing. He could have eaten a dead Harris. which was so very Spike.
I love that Spike doesn't think Xander looks disgusting, and that he tries to play along with out of it Xander to get what he wants, but then he's just so matter of fact about the whole thing, which is perfectly Spike.
Xander getting Spike to help by paying him is awesome, and even though you kind of root for Spike being sweet and not taking the cash, of course he does because he wouldn't be Spike otherwise! But the almost forgetting of the money was great.
I loved Spike sleeping with Xander and feeling his forehead, and this:

Spike checking whether Xander wants the light on was awesome, as was Spike not stopping when Xander calls his name. This was such a fun, could-have-happened little fic!
