Sorry for the delay in replying, my email insisted on filtered DW comments into my spam folder - not helpful email!

I found that I needed to replace "friends" with "read" in more than one place in the code and then it worked! :D

I'm glad I thought to share the links because that's what helped me feel more at home here on DW! :D
