How I Met Your Mother 'Come On' 1:22
Overall a good episode. I really enjoyed both Alexis Denisof and Amy Acker. She looked so cute in pigtails!
I was watching it with a friend and when Robin and Ted kissed he exclaimed: Am I supposed to care?! We know they don't get together in the end. And besides this feels like Rachel and Ross redux. heee! I was moderately happy but not excited.
I have this theory that the writer's will find a way to get around the whole "Aunt Robin" thing by some weird technicality and reveal that she actually marries Ted. But I'm also intrigued that the big on/off pairing on the show may not be a long-term pairing; it's a neat approach since most of us don't date just one significant person in our lives.
I'm very distressed that Lily and Marshall called off their engagement because I like having them as a solid couple who can work through their difficulties and still stay together. I suspect that they will resolve stuff next season, so I'm not really worried. And I loved the concept of a "pause" in an argument. I didn't even mind the Red Lobster product placement because it was such an adorable concept: pause an argument because you're hungry and restart it after eating.
Most of the time I enjoy my job but there are rare occasions when I worry that it's destroying my soul. Tonight was one of those nights when, because of my position, I had to do something that I just hate doing (even if it's justified) and it makes me all stressed and cranky.
But enough of the stress because I have some news that is making me so very happy!!!
Yes! It's true! I had originally not planned to go for a variety of reasons, but now it's totally possible for me to attend!! Oh, and I'll also be visiting the awesome

One reason I love my work is that when I asked my manager if I could have that time off he said: Why are you asking? Of course you can take a vacation! So, I've been registering, sending my cheque, making room arrangements and investigating travel options. Just writing about it making me less stressed!!
I'm so excited to meet those of you who will be at Writercon, and wish I could meet all of you there.
So, in conclusion re: Writercon, I am very very excited!!!

Do you have accomodations worked out?
I asked Sue if she knew anyone who was still looking to share a room and she connected me with
You didn't still have space available in your room did you? Cause that would have been so much fun!
Heeee! Well, you have all summer to find the TV love again. :D
Has the Bones finale aired yet? I completely forgot to watch it this week. ::headdesk::
Yay for Writercon! I'm envious of all you writer types. No doubt you'll have an amazing time. :)
The Bones finale aired last week, "the Woman in Limbo." I actually haven't seen it yet and I really want to! But that means it's still on my PVR so if you haven't seen it, I could always record it on a tape for you.
I wish you were going to be at Writercon so we could meet! It should be very fun, and so exciting to anticipate! :)
I wish you were going to be at Writercon so we could meet!
Me too! Well, if you ever head out this way again to visit relatives, do let me know. :)
Clearly it was a sign that you should grab the episode, and not about anything else!! ::Andrew!nod::
I'll definitely let you know if I'm up your way (which probably won't be this year, but you never know!). And you'll have to tell me if you're coming to Toronto!! :)
I certainly shall. I've mentioned that I've never been to Toronto, haven't I? I really need to head out that way one of these days.
heee! My dreams like that are normally very innocent as well! When I dreamed about JM, I talked to him about his character's arc on the show. Yeah, I'm a dork even in my dreams.
Excellent! Well, I hadn't been to your part of the country until last summer, and if you're flying the cost is almost equal to going to Europe! Toronto can be a really fun city, there's always lots of different things going on. I really love it!
if you're flying the cost is almost equal to going to Europe!
Yikes! Maybe I should go to Europe... ;)
But Toronto .... oh, it's so hard to argue for it when it's compared to Europe! *g*
I can't wait to meet you.

Teee-heee. I'm only joking ;) I hope you have a marvellous, marvellous time and that you really enjoy yourself. And! That you provide details when you're back on LJ. Eeeeee! :D Fo shizzle ;)

Hey, and maybe we could go meet up with
It's vaguely possible I will be in the vicinity of TO during August.
Oh! Very exciting about the possibility of Toronto in August. Definitely keep me updated!
I found this bottle of wine Wednesday, if you set it on the floor it would come up to the top of my rib cage. It's a fancy twirly bottle too. I'm thinking of getting it and taking it to either Writercon or Winchestercon.
That is a gigantic sounding bottle of wine!! You must bring it to Writercon!!
I'd like to be able to go myself, next summer.
On the other hand, I suspect writers are more fun to hang out with than actors.
neuroticswriters for hours on end. (Oh, I stole that explanation from the website). It'll be in Atlanta Georgia July 21-23. And I'll be visited with
And I'm delighted that HIMYM is returning next year because it's an enjoyable show. *g*
And I'm really touched that you've been going back and reading through my LJ, considering what you've been going through. It's been lovely to be getting your comments! *hugs*
