Yes, I've seen Episode III and it didn't totally suck. I went into it expecting it to be horrible (like Episodes I & II) so was pleasantly surprised. I'm not saying this is the best movie ever, or even that it's the best movie I'd seen in the last month... but I was entertaining. There were some great action sequences, particularly all the light saber battles. Also the painful romance scenes were kept to a relieving minimum. Since the craptasticness of Episodes I & II, I haven't been keeping up the Star Wars mythology yet I still noticed some of the continuity errors (bad George Lucas). I might end up seeing it again tomorrow, and that won't be a totally bad thing.

I've also seen Unleashed which was excellent. Finally a good English language Jet Li movie!! Fabulous action sequences, sweet sequences with Morgan Freeman's character and the niece, and one hysterical moment on a boat. Whenever I think about it I could laugh and laugh about it (it's similar to my finding Mister Funktastic in Bulletproof Monk to be hilarious).

At Inside Out, I saw Mysterious Skin (a Gregg Araki film), which was disturbing, thought-provoking and compelling. Overall, it was an excellent piece of filmmaking (I wasn't all about the editing but that didn't detract from the goodness of the movie). Joseph Gordon-Levitt (of 3rd Rock from the Sun and 10 Things I Hate About You) gave a riveting and layered performance.

Mysterious Skin was filled with tv actors from my favourite shows! Besides Joseph Gordon-Levitt there were:
-Michelle Trachenberg (Buffy)
-Jeffrey Licon (Goth guy god on Joan of Aradia)
-Lisa Long (she guest starred on a couple of Veronica Mars eps)
-Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe on 24)

It was awesome to see them all in something that's darker and edgier than what they normally do.
